Amazing! it reminds me a bit of the Brooklyn promenade looking over at downtown manhattan!

Kind of an eerie fog there. I would think you were in London if not for the skyscrapers.

Chris: It’s foggy in Shanghai, but there’s also tremendous smog. So much so that it’s hard to take photos of the unlit skyscrapers during the daytime. And the water is unsafe to drink, citywide. The environmental issues are monumental here, but the city keeps growing by leaps and bounds. My snapshots capture but a tiny fraction of the skyline.

Sally: like Brooklyn but orders of magnitude larger. The scale of this city is just tremendous, and it’s still growing by leaps and bounds. In a town not far from here, they completed a high quality 30 story apartment building, from excavation to occupancy, in only two weeks! I hope NYC never gets this big.

Great photo, hope to visit there someday soon. Shanghai is an urban colossus run wild; who knows how it will look in another ten years?
